Story Summary
Bush was recently at the Unity Conference and had his standard HIGH QUALITY speech. What do you think of Buffalo Wings? I think that the should be wings and not legs, and they should be from either Chickens found in Buffalo or actual Buffalos.

Homeland Security, means the You have to secure the Homeland.
Ah, your President (OK OK, he's mine too) spoke to the UNITY conference the other day and had some fascinating gobbledy-gook. When asked what Tribal Sovereignty meant in the 21st Century he said this:
?Tribal sovereignty means that it?s sovereign. I mean ... you?ve been given sovereignty, and you?re viewed as a sovereign entity,? Bush said. ?And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities.?
What the hell does that mean? I thought he spoke for the simple man. And I'm pretty sure Larry the Cable guy has no idea what that meant. Asked later about whether he was against Affirmative Action he said that he was against Quotas, but "I support colleges affirmatively taking action to get more minorities in their school." Um... okay. For the "No Child Left Behind Act", you say that you don't want to fund schools without accountability. That you have to MEASURE. How then can you MEASURE that Affirmative Action is working?
Bush also spoke about the marraige penalty and said this:We provided relief for the marriage penalty. It's an unusual tax code that penalizes marriage. Seems like we ought to be trying to encourage marriage in America, not penalize it.Well for Christmas sake, isn't that what the proposed amendment to define what MARRIAGE does? It certainly discourages marriage for gays? Why should they be DENIED rights because of their sexuality? Speaking of denying rights. Technically there is NO RIGHT TO VOTE. But we have about 15 amendments that specify who gets to vote or who cannot be DENIED, but there really is no RIGHT TO VOTE.
