Story Summary
So it seems Brokeback Mountain is not really that controversial. According to Entertainment Weekly anyway. Also, have you heard the Invisible Ring Tone yet??? Well how would you know, it's invisible?
|
So it seems the kids are trying to get one over their teachers. A ring tone which is ONLY audible by teenagers is being sent around so that kids can receive text messages in class, without the teacher knowing!!!
Now I was finally able to hear the ring tone when turned up the volume on the PC and and then started to feel my ears bleeding. Good times. My roommate who is a couple of years older than I, thinks the ring tone is a joke. Because he can't hear it, so he thinks it's some sort of big practical joke.
He could be right. But how do you explain the blood pouring out of my ears like I was in Wrath of Khan???
- Paul Shirley's plan for TV stardom goes down in flames like he was McLean Stevenson
- I'm just wondering what other white stiffs will get tv shows?
- Wah Wah... Brokeback Mountain didn't make a list Wah Wah
- Okay, I get it, Brokeback Mountain is great. And it didn't win the Academy Award for Best movie. It's a conspiracy against the gays in Hollywood. Because there is no way a movie about Gay Men would EVER win an academy award, unless it was about a Philadelphia Lawyer. Oh wait, that didn't even get nominated. Ooops. Wait... But wait, didn't a Gay Cowboy Movie win before??? Yes, Midnight Cowboy in 1969!!! See! You can't get 2 Gay Cowboy Movies!!!
- As we approach Fall, This Week In Tivo will return so that I can give you updates on my Tivo watching. But before we get to this fall there are couple of shows from NBC, that will be added to my list:
- 30 Rock
- Tina Fey's new show about a head writer on a sketch comedy show. Hmmm... close to home
- Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
- This is Aaron Sorkin's DRAMA about a sketch comedy show starring Bradley Whitford and Matthew Perry as writers. I love the Sorkin style of writing. But the trailer, um... seems to fall flat.
- Heroes
- If you liked Unbreakable you will love this show. The trailer for this show GAVE ME CHILLS.
