Rampant Flag Burning

Has there been a rash of Flag burnings that I'm not aware of, to steal a line from President Bartlett? Physical Desecration of the flag? Have these people listened to their constituents? What are all the rednecks going to do with their American Flag wife beater t-shirts? What about Kid Rock? What about Will Ferrell, wouldn't this be considered a physical desecration of the flag? What if you handle a flag improperly? What if you have one of those cheep dollar store flags attached to your car? What if flies off and is run over by an tractor trailer? What if I paint an American flag on a stripper with fake boobs? Is it okay if her breasts are natural? What if they sag?

The Onion is great. If only I had a team of writers from Harvard and Yale and hammradio.com could be this funny. Okay, maybe not.

It's hard to argue with these choices. So I'm not going to. Although, my buddy Wayne felt the need to argue the significance of quotes like "May the Force Be With You" and "Say hello to my little friend" on Pop Culture. While the latter is probably used by Wayne on a nightly basis when taking his bubble baths, it's context to the movie plus to society doesn't match other quotes higher on the list. I would spend more time on this, but "Franky, my dear, I don't give a damn."

So okay... Iron Shiek and Roddy Piper draw more than John Cena and Bradshaw. Yup... that's what I figured all along.

  • CIA believes Iraq is new training ground for terrorists.
Like the Russian/Afghanistan war became a training ground for Osama bin Laden. And of course, the Bosnia/Serbian War after that. Islamic extremists have been getting a healthy dose of real world experience of battlefield training for terrorism.
  • Private Space Companies Choose Retro Rockets
NASA chooses not to use retro-rockets so it doesn't have to carry as much fuel. So they build complex wings and chutes to bring a shuttle or ship home. Private Space Agencies want to use retro-rockets to slow their path down. Which requires bringing extra fuel. NO WONDER Bush wants to go to Mars... We are obviously not burning enough fuel driving our hummers to Wal-Marts.

Is offering your browser and imbedding it in your software wrong? Is breaking your code so that you can "uninstall" Internet Explorer a good thing? I mean even taking out your factory installed stereo carries risks. So is replacing your engine. Would you ask BMW to not allow it to block other folks from using it's engine. This is just wrong.
