Arnold For President?

Look...I'm as LIBERAL as the next guy... HOWEVER, I'm a strict constructionist when it comes to this element of the Constitution. There is NO WAY that we should have a president who in 20 years CAN NOT SPEAK OUR LANGUAGE. Now granted we have a president who was born here who cannot speak our language, but enough is enough already. I'm sorry this is unacceptable. This law was put in place because our forefathers saw in Europe, the "crown" changing hands to FOREIGN POWERS because of land grants and marriage to foreigners. This is a KEY element to our Constitution. And I'm not begrudging any immigrant who can come to our country take steriods, grope women, star in Action films, Marry a Kennedy, befriend the Christian Right and become Governor. But as President I say we SHOULD NOT allow this. Besides, this would have to be an AMENDMENT to the constitution. AND BY GOD, if they add this as a RIDER to the Gay Marriage amendment my head will explode.

I understand the argument for allowing a foreign born president. For as Frank Costanza might say: (as reminded by my buddy Kyle)

FRANK: No. That's why I can never be president.. It always irked me.
That's why, even at an early age, I had no interest in politics. 
I refuse to vote. (Yelling out) They don't want me, I don't want them!

Well, I think limiting the American Dream to EVERY JOB in the United States except FOR ONE, isn't so bad. Besides this issue is coming from the same people who felt Clinton had handed over the White House to the CHINESE!! What happens if William Hung gets elected president? Plus it's bad enough we have to worry if the Governor of California has the correct solution to Mars's air problem, than to have a Sly Stallone movie predict the FUTURE!
