I read a funny thing today. Thomas Haden Church as landed a plum role in the new Spider-Man, fresh from his Oscar nominated turn in "Sideways". Here's a great quote from article:

Church, 44, was virtually unknown in Hollywood until winning his Oscar nomination for "Sideways," but has been in huge demand ever since the film hit US screens last year.

This doesn't bode well for the rest of Hollywood, when you can be on a Top-10 "Must See TV" show for 5 years and you are an unknown. NOT to mention that he landed a starring role opposite the future Grace from "Will and Grace", Debra Messing in "Ned and Stacey" for 2 seasons. Seven years of PRIME TIME television. And he's an unknown. Un-real.
