He was our MVP here at HammRadio.com, and now he's the National League MVP. Jimmy Rollins, congratulations from all of us here at HammRadio.com. I grew up playing shortstop. At least I always thought that was my most natural position. (I had my greatest success at 3rd base oddly enough.) So it feels a little more special to watch such a fantastic player win the award. Even the folks at Beerleaguer agree. What's even cooler? This year I tried to introduce my girlfriend into baseball, by giving her ONE player to follow. She loves college basketball (Villanova) and Fantasy Football. So I figured if I told her to follow one guy, she'd love the sport. I picked JROLL. I'm pretty smart.
