Editors Note: Each Sunday Night Inside the Dugout will give you the wrap-up on this week's baseball season.
The Phillies finished the first week of the season 1-5. Not terribly good at all. In fact, it was downright awful. Swept by the World Champion Florida Marlins, Two of the games, the Phillies had 3-0 leads before the World champs came back to win in both of them. Starting pitching hasn't failed them, but Clutch hitting has. The Phillies have only hit one home run (Mike Lieberthal). However, Phillies pitchers have given up 9.

- Pat Burrell -- 5 RBI, .364; Great Start. He needed that
- Marlon Byrd -- He is setting the table, and knocking in runs. But no one is moving him over.
- Billy Wagner -- 2 appearances, 1 save opportunity; 1 save. His fastball is blistering.
